Im looking at some different lighting options for my 90 and not going the led route. I currently have a geiseman midday and aqua blue + and two regular blue bulbs. Im looking for something that has more punch like metal halides or different t5s.

Not sure what the post is about...

Are you trying to buy, looking for advice?

Seems like an open statement.

Metal halides are your only option. Geiseman t5 bulbs are great bulbs and even ATI bulbs wont give you more punch. Since ya dont wanna go LED you basically have two options.
1. More t5 bulbs.
2. Go with halide and t5 fixture.(which have been popping up cheap lately on maast)

Reefbright has some pretty cool halide/led pendants. Hamilton has the arbuba sun t5/led fixtures.

Nothing will punch like MH or give you the look of leD....

But like above said more t5 bulbs would work.....

You could also look for a fixture with 2 150watt mh and 2 or 4 t5s if heat and electricity is a concern..

Well spending 1k or more for leds is out of budget right now. I like metal halide's but don't like the heat they cause. My canopy has a push open top but I got nothing to put the metal halide's in.

I have two of the full spectrum dimmable LEDs that are 3w bridgelux Chinese and they look amazing! Right now they are at 70% and my corals are growing at a great rate. Look to our sponsors or eBay. I spent like 170 each.
