Is there any way to encourage clowns to host something in tank. Right now my clown host the corner where my over flow is???

What type of clown and what do you have that is hostable in the tank? Also, anyone in the tank picking on the clown?

AD describes them as mocha clowns. I don't have an anemone but a good size toadstool and xenia and clove polyp. I have seen clowns host all kinds of things just wish they were closer to the front of the tank most of the time.

One thing to keep in mind is a large amount of clownfish are tank raised and have never seen an anemone. Some people have had luck purchasing or borrowing a wild caught clown and letting it host the anemone. They have been able to get their tank bred clowns to then host as they learn from the wild caught one. It is not full proof and it doesnt always work.

From what I understand, tank bred, raised, clown fish dont really host much. Plus just cause you put something in there, ie, anemone, the fish may choose to host else where, and will host where ever they choose, a different coral, powerhead or wavemaker, etc, etc, etc.
