Expiration date?

A buddy of mine broke down his tank and gave me a box of stuff left over, in it included a bottle of aquavitros fuel with a date on it that says 10/02/12, and it was refrigerated the whole time, so my question is, does it really expire?

Where is the expiration date? This made me go check for one on my bottle since I've never seen one and I swear I've had it over a year since I only use it maybe once a month. I couldn't find one.

The expiration date is on the price tag, not printed on the bottle
