I have bought some in the past at Home Depot put I can’t remember which one. I’m using it to put glass baffles into the new refugium I’m making.

GE Silicone I or an RTV. Grainger should have momentive RVT103 (black) or RTV108 (clear). I've personally used the RTV from AutoZone.
The real key is to allow it enough time to cure.

That's the general guideline, but I disagree with common belief on this one. The MSDS for GE II doesn't have any kind of mold inhibitor listed. What I believe to be the most common issue with people using GE II is based on the fact it is an ammonia cure silicone and they do not allow the proper cure time required for such a silicone.

I wouldn't buy something labeled as 'Aquarium Safe'. One, it's hard to get in a tube size that can be used in a caulking gun. Two, it's pricier. And three, it's the same stuff but the others are not listed as aquarium safe (and even go as far as to say they are not for use in aquariums or below the water line) based on marketing agreements and liability issues.

There is a pet store on brook hollow n 281 by the HEB on the other side of 281 where AD is, so it it east side of 281. They sell aqueon sealant in the caulking size tube 1/2 price of any LFS.
