I'm ordering one of these today and was wondering if anyone could give me some feed back on the float switch option? I want to add an ATO to the tank and know that the reef keeper and act as the ATO. How do I set it up and what do I need to buy to get it up and running?

The ato float switch works well with the reef keeper and its pretty cheap....
Idk if the plus comes with the sl1 but you will need one to plug the switch into...
Sorta good just to bite the bullet and get the best package or even a entry level elite..... Your going to want all the additions within time...

Im using a 10 gallon tank and a sicce 1 as the pump... But any pump will work....
Thats basically it... Just plug in and play with the reef keeper..
Asfar as programming... All you have to do is tell the Reef keeper which outlet to turn on when the float switch is activated..... Pretty simple.

Mine works really well, only problem I have is that if the pH is above a certain level I have mine set ar 8.6 it will not completely shut off ATO just goes into a on/off cycle about every second. I am dosing Kalkwasser in TO water.

I'm going with the lite plus. The only difference I see between this one and the next step up elite is the PH probe is a kit (guess it has mounting stuff) and bus cables. Not sure how important these are to have.

you need a sl1 or some module with 10v switches and float switch

Ya the plus has a ph probe... Guess the only difference is the head unit.... Not a deal breaker but when i had my lite, the elites head unit was a little bit easier to navigate....
Also the programming coupler is included with the elite... But thats something you can borrow off some body... I have one that you can use if you need to.... Just makes programming a lot easier and you can label each outlet.... Not a must have but cool imo....

no holders, no controllers come with holder except suction cups. remember the lite can only be expanded to 4 modules, 1 pc4, 1 sl1, thats leaves you open to two more modules, such as 2 pc4, 1 pc4 and net module.

Ya I called and they told me that. I was told that this is the difference between the lite and elite. The elite can hold a lot more modules. I'm leaning towards the elite plus.

Where do you live by? I can swing by and help you program it... It takes awhile sometimes if all your modules need to be updated..
