Good Morning,
Thank you for your inquiry. The Director has yet to be released to the public, however we do have a beta program currently available that you are able to join if you would like: http://shop.aquaillumination.com/collections/all-products/products/director-beta-unit
I believe that the physical Director will remain the same when released. The differences may be packaging and software, however will be upgradable via firmware updates to the software. Let us know if you have any other questions, thank you.
