I live in corpus christi, I was wondering if it is posible to go to one of the local cannals and catch some decent fish for my 55 gallon reef tank.

You can go out to the jetty with a net and catch a ton of different fish. However I would not keep all of what you catch. I personally cought a few Molly miller bennies and Sargent majors and they were terrors. However you can get some pretty nice peppermint shrimps and rock anemones. If you are putting them into a fowler we have French angels out there that look awesome. But yea port aransas jetty.

How do you find and collect the rock anemones?

You have to go out a bit (almost to the end) on the jetty. But you can see them attached to the rock.

During the day or at night?

I have only found them out there at night but that is because I pretty much go out there at night. During the daytime you do not catch nearly as much. But that is just my opinion.

What do you use to get the anemones?
