Ok my fellow salty dogs, I'm going to be setting up my sump in the next few days. My questionsare as follows:

Do I have to have a HOB over flow or can I just run my pipe a bit deeper?

Ridgid pvc or flexible rubber hose? Why?

60gal DT (not drilled) 20 gal 3 chamber sump.
What size return pump do I need?
Should I run a supply and return pump?

Thanks guys (and of course gals)

Will black

You need the HOB overflow. And only one pump to put the water from the sump into the DT. Definitely don't try to pumps!

If you have the extra scratch, get an Aqualift pump to continuously pull water/air from the overflow J tube.

I like rigid pipe over flex.... But flexible is a lot easier to work with.
