Just turn off your lights and cover your tank completely with a towel or bed sheet. I've bombed my apartment several times and never had issues as long as my tank was covered :) good luck

Good to know. I've been hesitant to do it or have someone spray my house out of fear it would crash my reef.

It's a scary thought. If I had to do it I would cover my tank including sump, turn off skimmer or anything else that would pull in air. Shortly after that I would try to find a fresh source of air such as an open window.

I had a flea outbreak earlier this year and wanted to avoid bombing so I used Borax detergant to rid of the problem. Daily shake of borax everywhere (carpet, couches, under furniture etc) and vacuum for about a week. If your doing this for other critters i'd follow the above. Just cause it didn't crash someone's tank, don't underestimate what could happen. GL sir

Good to know as well. The house we just moved into needs to bed treated.

Done it before multiple times. I covered the tank with a plastic tarp and shut off the skimmer. No ill effects at all.
