So last night my vega's asked me to shut the door to their room and put on some mood music.

First impressions:
- the profile is a bit bulkier than a vega so mixing the two lines may create some asymmetry problems if the housings are visible. For a fish room it's no problem at all
- I'm not too sure on the 3 foot spread as advertised but it is a nice coverage.
- I don't really care for the uv LEDs, but the violet is a nice addition. It reminds me of the uri vho super actinics.
- Great customer support from AI as always.

After a quick firmware update I have two new colors on the controller.

Barely had room for just the 3 unless I want to run them perpendicular to the tank.

What I love the most is the missing inverted cone of darkness in the middle of the tank.

Believe me, I've been watching the corals like a hawk for any signs of bleaching. I think the fact that I ran almost a 1000 watts of light between the MH/vho setup acclimated the corals to the intensities from the LEDs.

Dude, get the violets if you can. The uvs aren't really that noticeable but the violets are a nice substitute for the Cree blues they left out. I also like the frosted lenses and the toned down cool whites. On the vega the whites are way to harsh.

Yeah, I lowered the whites to 65%. Green and blue sps lost some of their deep colors.
