Idk if any of you guys have ever got one or not but these **** things are freeky! I dip everything I put in my tank, so I don't know how a spider got in there. I do 2am flashlight patrols and yesterday I found, and caught a spider! Things freeky and scary at the same time! If anyone wants a pet zoa spider yer welcome to it....or if ya just wanna get creeped out its yours!

I had a huge issue with them not too long ago. Its been since then I dip everything! I pulled another out last night myself. I rarely see them now. One night I pulled out around 9 or 10.

This bad boy is about the size of a pencil eraser. Only one I've ever seen.

I use CoralRX...these spiders dont like to leave right away. you gotta shake the colonies a little.

Well I did a revive dip at regular dose and he freeked out and jumped right off thr rubble he was on. He was dead after 10min into a 15min dip. I also dipped 40 plugs and disks and only saw pods jump or freek out. So I hope I only had 1 spider and their not like roaches where you see I but theirs 10 you don't see.

Creepy crawlies like this are why I dip with Bayer. It kills fast. I've found it pretty effective in dealing with any kind of nasty beastie that we don't want hanging about in our tanks.

I wonder if peroxide would work. It kills everything else I put in it.
