Came home couple hours ago and noticed my chiller was constantly running.. Any way for some reason my controller stopped working and my tank temperature when down to 61 degrees .. Half of my tank looks already dead . I caught couple fishes half dead and they r in the bucket . Luckily I had about 40glns of water ready and I am replacing some of the water .i guess all my corals and anemones are literally all dead .i guess this is the worst day of my life. Wouldn't probably know untill tomorrow what survived or not .. Anyway could be an end of this journey

Shout if we can loan you anything. Also don't forget the equipment library. We have a couple of 20g long tanks, 29g, and Kevin has our 40g which he isn't using. Have HOB filters, heaters, pumps, lights etc. Let us know what you need.
We have gone through a tank crash and it sucks, but we got through it and so can you. Good luck...

If you need it, I have room to hold corals long term until you get things put right again.
That list of losses is sickening. I'm so sorry.

Thanks for the offers guys . But I have all the extra equipment sting in my garage also .
I mixing up more water to set up my another 75 gln where I can move the fishes y them selves .
Hopefully after a large water change tank should be stable in a day r two .
Right now I am in a shock of my loss the stuff I been collecting for years have all washes away within hours . More for my fishes what they have been through last night .
Now I regret with a my theory to always have an upsize equipment having a 1hp chiller for my tank it self was calling out for disaster

Sorry to hear that Lucky...My thoughts are with you, your family, and extended marine life family! That news made my tummy turn! Try to acclimate back slowly, some may still make it l, and your coral may still be ok, just cold burns to tissue, but give them some Reef Fuel (amino acids) or for quick tissue repair... Best regards, -CP

Thanks for the concern guys . I am not planning to put any new corals in atleast for another few months . I have given a lot to this hobby and been committed but a disaster like this has certainly shaken me . The only thing I could use and willing to pay aswell is a lots of macro ..

Man, I heard about this, but this is the first time I got to the thread. I hope you're hanging in there.
You know, there's easier ways to get rid of aptasias than chilling them out. :-)
If you need anything that I can offer, please let me know.

Thanks Allan . Tank is back on line just with 10% of its actual inventory . Been spin water changes and nitrates are down to 15pp . Also my huge 10" naso won't make it . He been not doing well since that day and today he been resting flat in sand bed . Thinking about just grabbing him and putting him out of his misery . Just can't make up my mind
