And I pooped myself. Especially in Oahu's largest distributor that is also open to the public. I'm glad I waited until today to check them out. I wouldn't have waited for my tank. I would have bought a new one just to get a tank going. Some of the most expensive fish were... cheap. **** near free. Potters angels for 20 bucks. Tangs as far as the eye could see. Blue box fish for 28 bucks. Normally around 120 or 140 in a store or online. Bartlet and purple box Anthias for 10 bucks. Dozens of flame angels fresh from the ocean chillin in the tanks. The best part was the knowledge bestowed on me on where to collect them all... muhahahahahahaha! They make most of their money shipping all over the world so they aren't worried if they tell the secrets of where and how to collect them. The down side. Dry goods do not exist here. Cost too much to ship. None of the stores. They carry lighting but only Leds and T5s. No need for anything else. I asked about metal halides and the guy promptly replied with I use that to grow... vegetables we'll say. Over all it was an awesome experience for sure. And I may not leave Hawaii. Except I already miss corals after seeing all these awesome fishies.

It sounds like we have a Hawaiian fish group buy in the makings! Haha! That's awesome, I'd much rather be in Hawaii right now.

I know exactly the store you are talking about. Kind of close to the base? Kristy and I went there when she was working in HI that summer. Absolutely amazing. You walk in and see hundreds of yellow tangs, flame angels, Wrasses, etc. No coral to speak of, but what I drooled over most were the crosshatch triggers. Amazing place! Enjoy your time in HI. :)

Ha ha. We'll see about that. I have to stock pile my tank before I start shipping out for people.

Yep. That is the place. It's amazing. They have clowns aswell. I guess indo pacific is fair game as well as long as the fish is similar to other fish locally like the damsels. So I may be hitting Rob up for some good looking clowns here soon. I'm going to loose my mind. Collect a fish. Keep it a bit. Release and catch a different one ha ha. Rotate different types in.
