i have two things id like for someone to ID. im new and have alot of questions. most ive figured out but im stumped on these two.

This snail looks similar to a nassasarius (sp?) it has the tube like them but the mouth and the foot are seperate. on the ones i have the foot and mouth seem to be all part of the same... the shell also is a bit more sloped and colored than the current ones i have.

These look like some kind of muscle? The have only have a shell. i seem them stuck to the rock work and glass, but they do seem to move. im just not around.

Top can be a type of welk. Bottom is a chiton or a limpet....I say limpet. Limpet is reef safe ans just grazes on algae, the welk on the other hand can and usually eats other snails....so keep an eye on him. I've gotten them before in Reeftopia GB's as nasarius snails.

10-4. That ones along with what I read about the aggressive snails having a very sloped front portion of shell

The ones I've had usually grow at an amazingly rapid rate.....so if he get buff super fast, allways hugged up with another snail you have a welk on yer hands.....find someone with a mantis shrimp to and dispose of him properly!

The top photo is a whelk. Get it outta your tank asap. The second photo resembles a chiton, a harmless dude who eats algae and detritus.

Snails, shrimp and possibly small fish if he gets big enough. They can voracious carnivores.
