I am getting close to getting some fish. Wondering what you guys would recommend. Never had saltwater before and I have a 55g tank. Cycling tank now going to add LR currently have about 30lbs of rock.

Can you tell us more about your set up? what do you have for equipment? So you cycling right now with just rocks (base rocks) and going to add live rock later? it helps if you can cycling all rocks at once,

I am doing fish only right now I don't have thee lighting for corals. I am cycling with base rock only plan on adding cured LR and fish at the same time.

Aquasport24 is correct. You will likely have a second "mini" cycle when you add more live rock. Being fully cured does not stop this from happening.
