Trip to Port Aransas in August. :)

Hello,
I am actually from Utah and a member of WMAS, While upon searching the internet for places to go on a collection trip, a post from the 2007 Port A trip showed up and me and a friend of mine are planning on making the 24 hours drive trip down to Port A at the end of August for a collection/road trip. I thought I would come here and see if anyone could give ideas on the best things to take with us (we are shipping our treasures back to utah) and where exactly to go for collecting and where the best spots and time to do so is as I see you guys take a club trip every year. :)

You should change your plans and join us at the end of July when we make out annual trip. 26-28 July. :)

But if not, some of the guys on here will weigh in. This will be my first trip to the coast for collection.
