40 Gallon Breeders

I'm looking for half a dozen new or new condition 40 gallon breeder tanks. If anyone knows of a local or online source other than your typical $100 - $120 Petco/Petsmart I'd be grateful!

Or any MAAST members who have some in good condition lying around that they don't need/want.

Check craigslist. I saw a post on there where someone was selling 5 or 6 brand new 40 breeders at $65 ea.

Petco normally does it 3-4 times from what I've seen; normally around holidays. I wouldn't be surprised to see it start up Memorial Day weekend.

I have a 40 breeder I was probably going to sell, but it's drilled.

I agree, you can't beat the Petco dollar per gallon sale. Just make sure you know ahead of time if possible and go right when they start the sale. The 40b's go pretty fast from what I've seen.

When I talked to the manager in kyle she said each store gets a certain amount but they are only allowed to put so many on the floor at a time to prevent lfs from buying all the stock at once and reselling.
