Hello everyone! I have been lurking for a while now and decided I would 're-introduce' myself. I used to be on here under the user name of 6line. I dropped out of the hobby for a while until my buddy called and asked if I was interested in a big tank. He told me 260 gallon! Uhhh, yea!! So when I came back to MAAST I couldn't remember my login so I created a new account. Any how, I upgraded from a 150 acrylic to a 260 RR glass tank. It has been setup since November and I couldn't be happier with how it is doing. I will post pics as soon as I get a chance. Just thought I would start a post and say hi!

Thanks Ben. Sorry for the tease...lol

Some random pics. The full tank shots are Before any corals, and before the LEDs. I'll try to get a couple better shots when the lights come on later.

Thanks alton, I have my diy 120 LED fixture on it now. Complete coverage, and almost finished with the canopy that will surround it.

I may just have to do that. So far all I have been able to program is lights on/off and heater on/off. I want to program dimming. I have a chiller on the way, so I will probably use that for the heater as well.

If you need help setting up your port forward I can walk you through or jump in remotely and configure it.

I'm not really tech savvy, hence me not being able to set it up. How does the remote access work? Will you always have access after that? Or can I 'block' you once you've helped me... Lol

We would use a service like Join.me. You would download and run the application and then provide me with a 9 digit number which allows me to connect for that session so I could 'drive'. I would not retain remote access, it's a single session. I could walk you through it, but it's always faster if I just plug in the numbers for you instead of trying to navigate you through the pages. Do you know what router you have?

It's AT&T 2WIRE...

Okay. You're call on the remote session, it's too late to do it today, but I can help you tomorrow.

Tomorrow would work just let me know what time. And where do I get the application?

I found it in the App Store. Duh...

Do you have a computer or do you normally configure your router via your phone? If there is an app, I suppose it would work, but a computer would be best IMO.

I usually try to do most everything on my iPad, but I can use the desktop for this. I'll get it setup tonight or first thing in the morning.

Thanks for all the help!

Thanks for all your help this morning rrasco. I went onto the Neptune forum, and it would appear the android app IS the culperate. Guess I will have to wait until the bugs are fixed.

No problem. As a work around, you could use the browser on your phone to make any changes; assuming that works.

Yes, that does work. I tried that on my 4G and was able to make changes. Not as easy as the app, but I guess that is why they come out with apps I guess..

Yeah, mobile browsers = blah, IMO.

It's coming along nicely. Have my 3 black boxes installed, just don't like that the center braces are 3" wide. Debating on getting a 4th but not sure how it would spread with those braces. Guess I could move them around, but would be a pain the way I mounted them in the canopy.

Wow, that picture does the tank no justice...
