Do you have one special coral in your tank? Does everyone notice it, or does it get overlooked? Is it a humble creature, but you still cherish it when you take some time to simply watch your reef? I have one like that, it's just doing its thing and from time to time it really catches my eye.

What's yours? Feel free to post about it, why you like it and add a picture. This could be an interesting thread.

Its a love/hate with this guy

His color pop is awesome all time of the day or night but he takes up so much real estate, I want to yank him out.....

He will more than likely stay with my forever though..... only cause hes in a rock and I think it would be impossible to take him out without harming him...

Very nice Ben, I still remember standing in line at Felipes when he hosted a MAAST meeting to get my single headed Candy Cane for $5

Mine. Blood red blastos. The first thing anyone notices when they look in my tank.

My toadstool that I got from Allan two years ago. Started as a 1x1 ugly duckling frag and is now a beautiful 5x4x3'' coral. Sad thing is, people still notice the GSP first

It's so hard to choose between my corals :) I love all of them. Justin said to think of it this way. If I came home and all my corals where gone which would I rather have live? I thought about it and I think I choose my baby plates because I have raised them for almost a year and watched them grow.

Here is a "before" pic. A friend had a BTA that went rogue and this dude was in the line of fire.

Not many see this one, but it's one of my favorites. I got it from Mizeny three years ago or so... Sick neon green under the blues. I've accidentally broke this a couple of times and folks go after the pieces like a junky over spare change.

I don't have a lot of cool corals like most people do but mine has to be my 2 neon green palupa nepetha mother colonies. Both of these have been with me for a long time. They both started as 1 inch frags. I got them from an Austin Reef Club member named Dena when I was living in Austin over 4 years ago. I have fraged it several times for members and it continues to grow and do very well.
