need to hang my light

hey there was wondering is anyone knows of a good way to hand my light over my 45g corner tank. i cant hang it from ceiling so thats out. if anyone has any experience or knowledge of this please let me know.

Use brackets coming of the wall or use pipe/conduit to build hangers and then attach them to the stand.

Maybe build a shelf about the tank? Supported by the wall and is the same foot print of the tank.... Like a floating canopy... That way you can mount just about anything up under it and hide wires on top..... You could decorate the ends and even set some picture frames or just about anything on top that would please the wife..

A corner tank that is not in the corner..... That should make it interesting.. Lol

easier to service the sump though, I'm sure....


you could buy the aquatic life hanging bars.... If you don't want to rig something up.... I ordered them from Louis at elegant..... They will screw into the top and bottom of the stand from behind...

Shelving bars with the brackets are a good way to do this. You'll have to screw it into the stand or dry wall though.

I'd use conduit. It's cheap and would give you the a ability to customize it for your needs:
