Ai Vega users got a ?????? For u

Just got 3 vega and was wondering what it the best % to put each color on for grow and look. Got sps and everything else, lol. So what's everyone's opinion? Right now I'm running cw 60% red 40% green 20% blue 80% dark blue 90% and royal 90%!! Please no hijacking my thread lol and open to:shades:

Hey Tony, what controller are you using for your vegas? The gen 1 or 2 or Rk?

First LEDs? With three I would turn down the percentages a little for a little while. Also, like Tony pointed out, how high above the water do you have them? That makes a difference as well.

Mine are about 6-7 inches off the water with all blues at 95%, whites at 90%, and red/green at 40%. I'm running almost all sps. The only corals that are having a hard time adjusting are some shrooms in the bottom corner and my acans.

I'm sitting at 8" AWL. Whites are 75%, all blues at 90%, reds 75%, greens at 40%.

I'm running two units on a 4' x 2' x 2' footprint.

I'm having water stability issues so I'm having sps dissociates right now. Prior to that I had excellent coloration and growth. Growth for my tastes as I despise fragging and I don't run a frag shop.

I switched to 1/2 led and halides about 3 months ago. I went all led about a month ago. No change in the growth rate and I'm getting some nice color from everything. The red has really brought some nice colors that I never noticed before. Couldn't be happier with the switch.
