Flow Accelerator?

Does anyone have any experience with these?
I have 2 loc-lines that I wanted to split and add flare nozzles to increase water flow. I came across these and made me doubt.

they increase flow in tank by a multiplier of up to 4X. NOW the thing is it Does reduce your water transfer rate from sump to tank due to the restriction. moreless you are sacrificing water volume transfer for water volume movement in tank. yes i have one, anything past 500gph i suggest a 1" one for maximum efficiency of flow acceleration and volume of water transfered from sump to tank.
