I used both of these for a month and a half. I bought both of them new in early February 2013. There is nothing wrong with either, I just have decided to run a smaller tank without a sump. Mag 7 $40, Skimmer $120. The AquaC has a Rio pump and drain fitting. One of the pictures of the skimmer shows a vertical squiggly white line, that is just a reflection.
