Came home today to some happy coco worms. Two of them started spawning (broadcasting gametes).
I've been feeding this tank phytoplankton and rotifers regularly. Currently I have 3 clams, 3 coco worms and a hawaiian feather duster to name a few that would benefit from the phyto and rotis.

thanks but they are still spawning lol, the burgandy/yellow/pink one and the bright orange one. Tank is getting a little cloudy. I'm skimming wet right now to help but I don't have any fresh carbon :(, might need to make up some water to do a water change.

Ok great clad you have some coming. Wow I didn't know that they could spawn that much so fast it's cool to see but sucks your having to deal with it. Good luck hope all it well.

Yeah crazy, they just kept on going for about 20 minutes. Looks like they stopped finally and the tank is not that bad. Looks a little cloudy as if the glass was dirty. Skimmer is jamming out.

Wonder if the spawn provides any benefit to the filter feeding corals...?

thanks, they are pretty cool, I love the movement I get from them and the clams. The kids like to have me open the canopy and move my arm over the clams and coco worms to watch them close up, they get a kick out of it.
