It has now been 3 weeks since we set up my 105 dsa.

Fish:
2 chromis
Flame angle
Yellow tang
Speckled hawk fish
Bimaculatus anthis male and female

Inverts:
6 mex turbo snails
12 Astraea snails
6 peppermint shrimp
Lg coral banded shrimp
15 blue legs

Corals:
8 scolys some master scoyls from macna
Aus blastos
Candy canes
Tube anemones
Green gonipora
7 frags of acans
Green star on tonga branch
Blue Berrys
Bleeding apple lobo

Some parameters

Using ro/di water and instant ocean salt

According to the apex over the last week
Salinity 35.9-35
Temp 78-78.9

Hana checker
Phosphate .03

API salt water test kit
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0

I am pulling the trigger on one of these this week. What size/type of return pump are you using? Did you go with the DSA stand or did you build your own?

Look up the thread in Elegant Reef's subforum, they have build details in there. I believe they built a steel stand for him.

Louis has the DSA stands which are very nice and one day I will have both as well. I believe it's the only way to keep any kind of warranty..

You're right Tony. DSA only offers warranty with tanks their tanks sitting on their stands.

So far from what he's told me personally, he hasn't had any issues with nipping. But it's said they can develop the taste for it without notice.

You're right Tony. DSA only offers warranty with tanks their tanks sitting on their stands.

I think it's 5 years with their stand, 7 if you register it.

My flame angel was a terror. To tank mates and coral.

bummer, well I hope it works out for him. There's alot of money in that tank to be turned in to fish poo.

Hopefully not you just have to keep an eye on them!! I had one in a previous tank for 5 yrs stocked full of SPS and softys never had a problem but I do feed A LOT twice a day!!!!

I am becoming a big fan of these Deep Sea Aquatics tanks. Looks really clean and no trim to look through. Looks great.
