Water World Aquariums
So about a couple of weeks ago I heard about a new fish store that was opening in New Braunfels called Water World Aquariums. I called and was told that they would be opening up by 01/11/13. Because I get excited about a new store opening I decided to call again yesterday afternoon just to double check the opening date. The owner Brad told me that they are opening up on Saturday 01/12/13 but that if I was around town locally I could stop by and check out what he had before they officially open on Saturday as long as I didn’t mind the last minute construction going on. So just like any of us would do I told him that I would wait. NOT!!!!!!! Me and the wife jumped in the car and went over to check it out. The store is very nicely put together. They had a large amount of salt and fresh water fish in stock and ready for their opening on Saturday. They have a few corals now will be getting more in today for the opening on Saturday. The wife and I talked to Brad as we were looking around. He was very helpful and made us feel right at home. He is a family man and told us that his son who is also working with him owns an on-site aquarium maintenance business which he has been doing for awhile. He said that they opened the fish store to help grow that business and vise versa. They have a good selection of fish products as well and will also be selling fish tanks once everything is finished in the store. I asked Brad if they would be having a grand opening and he stated that they are planning to have an official grand opening a couple weeks after they open this Saturday. He also advised that they are working on a web-site where they will be show casing live stock and deals that are going on at the store. If you guys have time you should try to stop by this Saturday or for their grand opening to show some support for a new and upcoming business. The address is 1308 Common St., Suite 205, New Braunfels Tx 78130. Its right behind the Rudy’s BBQ off Hwy 46.
