Consolation prize

As most of you know, I had a disastrous frag tank crash not long ago. I almost quit right there, after pulling coral after coral that was dying or dead, my heart just broke. I thought long and hard, and decided that I loved it too much to quit. But, I'm making some big changes. No more sps, I'm going lps and zoas and palys. High end, lots of color. So.............I had to go to the DFW area this last weekend for work. And, I came home with some awesome sexy...........

Oh, I will be sharing at some point down the road. That frag tank is coming back from the dead..........better than ever. I'm completely reworking the tank and system right now. I hope to have it running by this weekend.

Good to hear that you're back at it! when my tank crashed I almost quit too, but the stuff in my tank was a lot less valuable. Live and learn I guess haha. Good luck, can't wait to see your new frag tank!

Nice eye candy! What LFS did you go to while up there?

I went to Dallas North Aquarium. Far as I am concerned, they will always be at the top of my list. There are a couple others that I used to frequent, but after my last couple of trips to them, I won't be back. One actually had a big dead rotting fish stuck to one of the power heads. The other had so many sick and dying fish that it was just disgusting. If you find yourself on the west side of Fort Worth, franks tanks is another excellent store.

I went there years ago and they had several aquariums containing diseased fish that where discounted, I was not impressed

Alton, they changed hands a while back. Talk about a huge change. Clean store with lots of stock.
