I got coral!
3 frags of leather coral
Two are pretty soft and they were easy to glue into place.
One of them is more rigid (weird, right? I thought all leathers were very soft/ full of water) and that rigid one just won't stick!

It's driving me crazy. I am running out of ideas. How can I get him to stay long enough to attach. Superglue isn't doing much good

stick a toothpick in him and stick it in a hole in a rock

I have also used fishing line to tie softies off to rocks before.

+1. I would use a needle and thread and pierce the coral tissue and run a piece of thread through it and then tie it to a rock.

Fine I gave it one last chance and it slimed itself off the rock again.

:(
I had to stab it with a KNIFE! since it was too tough to get a tooth pick through. But now it is stuck on the rock and the toothpick is lodged and glued

Thanks for the tip

I've always used rubber bands, but as Paul pointed out, loosely held. I've made plenty of frags with the devil's hand because of an overly zealous rubber band.

Can't glue them. :)

nope. can't glue them. lol
But he looks happier today than he has in days... now that it's impaled to a rock on top rather than lay around in the gravel
