I picked up my 2 gallon pico for like 10 bucks off lol better than nothing :p
I needed a refractometer though... wish I had seen that deal!

Oddly enough, my hyrdometer was spot on. I have heard so many stories of people getting a refractometer and saying their hydrometers were horribly inaccurate. Guess I'm not one of them.

I had the same thing. Same reading on the hydrometer. I can only imagine that the people that had issues, never rinsed them out after use. And just let the salt build up. At least know I'm confident with my reading.

I rinsed mine before and after every use. I think it's key to make sure there are no air bubbles on the needle either. I am also now confident with my reading.
