Dual BRs Reactor?

O'kay! Any suggestions? My dual filter was running at a trickle, changed media, flushed lines and it Still runs at a trickle, in the mean time I've got this purple algae looking stuff starting to grow on my sand bed...... Open to any suggestion....

Has anyone combine their GFO w Carbon? Would this be better?

I stopped running both. Just running an ATS and a skimmer for now.

I run them in the same reactor. GFO at the bottom so it can tumble and it lasts 6 months with carbon above that compacted by sponges so it doesn't move and easier to replace every month cause it is near the top.
