I’m looking into buying an MH lighting set up for my standard 90 gallon tank. I’m running T5's now put want to add MH lighting to it. I am hoping to be adding the tank into the wall after Christmas so I want to see if anyone has a fixture for sell that will fit my tank or a retro kit. I’m going to vent the room that the tank will be in so I won’t be running a chiller. I’ll have a fan venting the hot air hot that will come on when the tank lights come on. Also with a new baby on the way I’m looking to keep this upgrade as cheap as possible and possibly help the cost a little with possible trades. Let me know what you have and thanks for reading.

I love my new lights.. I went from T5s after four years and the color plus growth of my sps is unreal. I bought the Maristar MH/T5 combo, its a two T5 bulb being phased out so if you can find them, you can get them at a steal brand new.....

On a 90 I would say 250 watt MHs would be safe...

LOL, was getting ready to say same thing... The bracket is all aluminum and adjustable, I keep it 8 inches over water.. Just a Great light, I asked Chris, (Big_Pun) about it before I purchased it and glad I followed is recommendation.... Will wait a few years till all data is in on LEDs before I consider a change....
