We have one in the FOWLR and have not had any issues. Of course it has the pair of big maroon clowns bonded to it. No other fish get close enough to get eaten. It does move some and with its size, could do some damage to its neighboring corals in a reef tank. Although we do have coral in the tank, there is nothing around it.

We do have a mini-maxi carpet in the reef, which is not so mini anymore (6-8 inches across). We have not had any trouble with it in the reef.

No you cannot frag a clownfish-hosting carpet anemone (S. hadonni, S. gigantea or S. mertensii). If you are lucky one of the frags survive otherwise both died. Don't try.

Yes.
Haddoni and Mertensii are broadcast their sperms and eggs while Gigantea female take in the sperm and release fully form baby anemones
