My wife and I are coming down to San Antonio Saturday and would like to check out some LFS down there.

Any must see stores?

Thanks

Aquarium Adventure on Culebra is nice, albeit pricey.

That place is wayyyy to pricey. Unless you don't mind paying 110$ on a yellow tang (25-40 everywhere else) then it is a good place. I agree with mkengr45 on this one.

Phenominal Aquatics - Cheapest prices on livestock/liverock and has some decent corals - no dry goods except for some fish food.
Texas Tropical - Been there forever sometimes you can find some decent stuff. They also will order custom tanks just don't stock them. DSA/Marineland.
Pollys Pets - haven't been out there but I've heard they have nice stuff time to time.

Elegant Reef and Aquarium Designs were pretty nice, visited them last time.

Got a Black Ice Clownfish from AD and some inverts from ER. ER looked like they had just opened last time we were there, wondering how their store had matured.

I picked some nice corals from them at fair prices. They are very nice and helpful. Get a lot of good looking ora stuff in.

The just opened to the public a couple months ago. Nice setup. Nothing fancy. But they take care of their fish and corals.
