Hitchhiker ID?

Hello guys I have what looks like a Macro starfish in my sump. I actually like the little guy but I figured I would toss a pic of him out here first before I get to comfy with him. Can anyone tell me what he is and if he means harm? He is on my filter sock here and my Iphone doesnt like little close ups lol.

Micro brittle. Keep looking in the tank and you will find plenty more. Not bad and people actually pay money for them.

Usually they hide their oral disc in a rock and you Will see their arms come out looking to snag a meal when you feed.

"Don't worry buddy, they're on our side..."

I love seeing their arms sticking out of random rocks.

I have tons of them, my rocks get "hairy" at feeding time, as they all try to grab a passing meal.

They are fantastic as part of the clean up crew.
