Last night 3 of my 4 lights went out. I have a wave point t5 fixture that houses 4 54 watt bulbs. Came with two blues and two whites. Only working bulb currently is a blue. Should I replace with what was in the fixture or some different combination (ie all blues, all whites, add some red, violet, coral wave etc)? Currently in my tank I have 2 alardi clowns a bunch of lr and sand. And 5 small coral mostly zoas and a Kenya tree.

When you say "went out" do you mean just quit working or slowly dimmed over time from use?

Color choices on bulbs will be your personal preference. With 4 bulbs you are kind of limited, but I would buy a couple of extra bulbs and play around with combos till you find what you like. I would recommend at least one red color, one daylight, and a blue with actinic.

+1 on what he said...

on 4 bulbs, if you want a more blue look but with good par...... 3 Ati blue+, 1 Ati aquablue(daylight)...

I also liked 2 Ati blue+, 1 Ati purple plus (or fiji purple), 1 Ati aqua blue..... its a very bright tank.

you could also use 3 ati blue+, Ati coral+(which is a like a mix of the aqua blue and purple plus)...

I only used those combinations of those bulbs so, thats all the help I could offer.....

I would just use Ati bulbs, they are cheap and one of the best bulbs.....
