Honest question. Why do you "need" one? I've got a nano with no media basket and it's doing fine. I'll admit that the basket kinda keeps things slightly more organized. What all will you be running in the sump area?

they are nice to have especially to add a fuge to run some macro algae. you could also use eggcrate and super glue or epoxy, DIY one
