I just got off the phone with one of my cousins who asked me if i knew what store sells "tank raised" clownfish, cause he wants to throw about 10 in his 8' long 240g.
I told him that whether they are tank raised or wild caught they will probably kill each other off until only two remain.

Am i correct?

most likely. i had a whole batch that i raised in my 250, and at about a year old, i tried decreasing the population several times to keep them from fighting. the last attempt, i had only 8 or so. the tank is peaceful now, i have just a pair.

Ok just making sure there was no difference between having a group of "tank raised" clowns vs wild caught ones.

I had got one of the clowns from you when you were thinning out your batch. I think my wife had named it pirate because it only had one eye, but we lost his a couple weeks after we brought him home.
