so I figured out a way to scratch that "build" itch!! you talk your friend into setting up a tank! so my buddy has admired my tanks for years, he finally pulled the trigger and let me build him a system and gave me free rein on the build. it's basically my tank in 120 version. 48x24x25 AGE tank, dual overflow. light is current fixture 2x150 and 2x130w cf. sump is a design I came up with 24x20x15. return is 2x sicce 2's, and a sea side aquatics CS1. big thanks to Louis and guys at Elegant Reef for getting all the equipment and a sump built.

thanks! tank is cleared up all ready now to track some live rock and get this going. also need to find a ATO reservoir that fits in the stand or make a side cabinet to house it.

lol that's how I look at it Allen. still have to deal with all the lil things since he has zero experience, but he's catching on very quick. first thing he learned on his own was throw away receipts!! no evidence for the wife

... although I'm kinda confused why you are buying all this stuff and pulling your hair out when it's not your tank! :confused:

lol wrong thread but I'll be taking this fixture apart to replace a ballast and led power supply
