Ecoray 60D LED

Wanting to purchase a pair was looking for some results of the lighting used on other reefs? What's your opinion?

Ask sinisterlou. He has them and loves them. He gets great growth and color out if his corals.

I utilize 2x over my 75g and does great with color and good coral growth. Definately a good buy for the price but be sure to place them high above the tank at least 12" above the water surface unless you have corals that require really high par readings. I've had chalace and other hard corals start to loose their color due to the intensity of the light, so I had to place them all the way on the bottom of the tank to regain color. And always acclimate them slowly by placing your corals at the bottom then bringing them higher on the water column as they get use to the intense light. I'm currently working on getting 2x 112 Ecorays for my 125 mixed coral setup....going to be nice. :blushing:

It's true!!!Not many people have seen my tank but the ones that have seen it stay astonished and confused. I've even had someone with AI's say that they would have bought Ecoray's first had they seen the tank before they purchased their lighting. Remember not controllable but PAR beasts and affordable.

I bought one about 2 months ago and so far it's been great for me. Didn't think that I was able to grow any Sps but with the light it's doing well for me. http://img.tapatalk.com/a6cd0b03-21a2-f600.jpg mine hangs about a foot and a half

Nice looking tank. That is a huge gap ha ha. Louis grows some pretty nice stuff. They are well worth the price. Where are you looking to buy them fron and how much?

Wow guys thanks for the responses I was convinced at first but now I'm really wanting to get one Lou I was talking to Alex at wolf and he was telling me about your tank using those lights

Yeah I have three of them. 2 on my display and one on my frag tank. All three are going on my 120 build when I upgrade tanks
