how do you get them to eat like that?

is this at night? cause thats the only time mine open up to munch.

Tony, they have been trained that their food comes right after I feed Reef Roids to the other tank on the same system (zoa/paly tank). Within 15 minutes of feeding the Roids, the chalices are ready to order their dinner. It takes some time, but you can train them to expect food. Shut the pumps off and drizzle the food on them at the same time you want them to expect it. They will still take it in and eat even if they don't have their feeders extended. After a while, they will expect their food at whatever time you trained them too.

Apparently someone trained my welso to expect food at midnight, because he opens up wide and puts his tentacles WAY out at midnight every night. And, of course, I feed him. Can't deny I hungry coral, now can I?

My acans were trained, but these chalices havent learned that Im a good feeder.......

I sprinkled some coral frenzy, which use to trigger my acans but these guys havent learned yet..... Maybe cause I leave my return pump on....

Another chalice lover....nice collection.....I sold all my collection and now waiting for new tank to get ready for my sps addiction ..!!!!

Kevin, it's a very dark brown with golden streaks running through the body, the eyes are a weird pinkish/orange with little red tentacles. I've never seen one like it before.

I've got a few others too, but their pictures didn't turn out good. Cornbred Lava Eye, Cornbred Resurrection, Cornbred Treasure Chest, an unknown that is just a SICK pink and green, bubblegum pink. And a few others I am sure I am forgetting.
