naso tang pooping weird!!

so our naso the last 24 hours has been pooping weird looks like its same from last night like it was unable to push it out. anybody ever seen this before. also thought about pulling him out and helping with tweezers or lil squeeze. any ideas???

Oh goodness.. poor thing.

Don't pull it! If it's sticking like that, it could still be stuck to the internal organs, and pulling the poo will pull the organs too.

Is he eating plenty of algae? In FW fish, greens (like peas) work as a laxative. I have no idea if the fish digestive system is much like people's.... if it is diet should help the problem. fiber? oil?

are you sure those aren't parasitic worms of some kind? hard to tell in the pic

ive only had him 3 days, he was in cooper for about a month at lfs, he eats algae and other food well. they might be dead worms as he was treated with a parasite treatment before also.

that is possible. i doubt they would be living after all of that treatment.

I also thought it could be parasitic worms of some sort. But in case it's not, I like the idea of increasing his fiber... can't hurt, right? Make sure he has plenty of macro / nori to graze on.
