20g zoa garden

so my girlfriend wanted a pre build to get ready for next weekends 150g tank. so i wake up to Emily hell bent on starting a 20g.

light is a current sunpod 4x24w. aquaclear 70/fuge mod.

I've been adding some rocks into the tank and getting things going since it will have to hold some of the rocks and coral when we switch over tanks. I'm ready to get some sand in it so I can have some idea of what I will do with rock work. Need to get a smaller pump for it as well. I'm getting excited for it to be up and running so I can start arranging all my frags. I want to do some of my smaller acans in there as well.

Add a stunner strip to the fixture.... Especially for the zoas, mine glow now.....

3 blue plus and something else. I never did get with you on your bulbs. I have a Fiji purple,and blue plus waiting at store. still up in air on the other two bulbs.

All good.... They sold not too long after.

I am running 3 blue plus and one aqua blue special, I like the color.

added new fixture Spec LED from Brandon at zoanthid.com. it's a 120w fixture with RGB and ultra violet. has 3 channels and timer built in, can also set 6 intervals if intensity with timer, so you can ramp up through out the day. also a wireless remote control.

they are cool for baby tanks lol. I like LEDs for nano softy tanks, especially under 18in deep . but my sps 150 will not be getting one.

Tony, you know my opinion on LEDs too! It took me all weekend to decide on it. It's nice being able to change the intensity on it and all the little features. The guy I like getting my zoas from uses LEDs and I sort of got sucked into after a weekend at MACNA. We will definitely NOT be putting LEDs on the big tank though

BUT at the frag swap I did buy some rics as well as one of the brains that HighDefCorals had. I don't know who bought the other one...I think the raffle winner? or door prize winner? I can't remember, but anyways...I did also get the only hot pink flower nem that Highdef had. It looks really great, esp. in the night time under my new fixture.
I'm getting excited to get my 27 gallon going.

^^That is mainly focused on the candy apple red that I got from kick azz corals at MACNA. I also go the dragon ball z from them too. The Candy apple red has two little babies growing along side of it:):) I really love this frag.

yes it is. he also has my picasso pair and they have been laying for him, just dropped 3rd clutch and he going to collect this one. cant wait for to see how those come out.
