Allan, what size fish are you trying to catch? I have two very nice acrylic traps I made (one for larger fish, one for wrasses/smaller fish). If you can't find one local, I would be happy to box one of mine up and mail it to you. They work fantastic. I have never had to work more than about an hour to catch any fish in my tanks.

Sorry, I know I'm causing trouble, but it sounds like there's a thief in SA that is pretty good at catching fish.

Hey, thanks for the support. My yellow tang is like a large medium... Unless your in the ocean, then it's small.

Kevin, you're the closest... Stop by tomorrow?

Well... I'll be a three toed leprechaun.

Moved a few things around, put the trap in place, figured it be a few days before the yellow tang would venture inside. Then I put some brine shrimp inside and watched.

All the fish spent a lot of time bumping their noses on the outside of the tube.

The hawkfish was the first to find the opening, and feasted. Then the cardinal. Then the yellow rim. Followed by the beautiful lps nibbling yellow tang.

I couldn't believe it. I let the trap shut and pulled out the trap. But the other three back into the tank an put the yellow into the frag tank.

So who needed the fish catcher next?
