Corner Tanks

Right now I have a RR 72gal bowfront tank. I need to swap it out with a corner tank as the spot I wanted to put it in, in our new house doesn't work so well with the Mrs. Does anyone know who around town would have the best deal for a RR corner. I need some help with the sizing, I'm confused on how the measurements read. On a 54g or a 92g how long are the sides of the tank and how deep from the middle part of the bow to the back where the two sides meet?

Check out tex tropical, last time i was in there they had a 72 gal with stand that looked really nice.

Was that a regular bowfront or a corner? I don't think I've seen a 72 corner......

It was def a corner, non bowfront, right at the entrance on the right.

I have a 92 gal corner bowfront, I bought it used. I got it on Craiglist...
Not for sale, do you need the measurements?

There is a pretty sweet corner bow front for sale one Craigslist now. I love my corner tank, but its not a bow front.

Cammed, I ask because I was just in there last week and the only one they showed me was the non RR they had on the back left side of the store. This is the same store located next to the Uhaul place right?

I did see the two on Craigslist but they both want to sell the as a whole and I only need to find a tank and stand as I'm trying to switch from a 72. Sure I could buy the whole thing and then sell what I don't need but who really wants to go through that haha. Plus the one tank on there doesn't seem to be a RR tank. The other one said it is drilled for two drains and one return however I don't think it has an overflow box attached to it. I did email them both the other day and told them let me know when the start to part out.

I have the 92 corner, it has a radius of 34".

Mkengr45, Are you saying the "bow" part is 34" at center from the back corner(center) of the tank? What about the length along the wall, from back corner to end of the side of the tank? I assume that comes out to 34" as well since it's the radius?

yes, they are all 34" because it is the radius. Think of it as a slice of pie that is 1/4 of the pie.

Thanks, last question I think haha. Is the width of the front of the tank 48"?

yes it is 48", mathematically I seem to recall that dimension referred to as the "chord" of the circle....

did you ever find the tank ? I ordered mine at tex tropical.. using a overflow box.
