A couple of days ago, I was picking up some dry goods at a fish store and decided to stop by the coral/invert section of the store to see if I could pick up any frags or a cheap coral and I saw a 6'' maroon with an anemone about 3'' in diameter. The nem didn't look too good and I asked the guy how long they had it. The guy told me they had only had it a couple of days but that the clown was being extremely rough with it. My fiance felt pretty bad about it and we had wanted to get one eventually and the guy gave us a pretty good deal. He sold it to us as a bubble tip however after a couple of days in the tank (doing pretty well), and some research, it looks more like a Ritteri anemone to me. Now maybe I'm just digging to deep into this but here's an attatched pic of my nem. It hasn't bubbled yet (I know some bubble tips never do), and I can't seem to find TOO many pics of people who have some that look like mine (found one or two, not many). I contacted the store and the owner assured me that the only nems they ordered recently are long tentacle and bubble tip. The other nems in the tank were long tentacle and were noticably long tentacled (very curly tentacles, much different from this one).
