So is the price, I would rather spend it on a black tang and a gold flake angel and a mp10

Oh wow. I wasn't even going to look at that until Alton posted this! lol yikes.
With my luck they always change color slightly anyway based on lighting. I'd end up with a plain blue 1000 dollar clam lol

u know i guess 1000 for this clam is outrageous... i agree with karin they do change the look with the environment .....and i plus after looking at em with the close up i think they look alright....just my opinion:)

It's too bad we're such a club of broke schmucks. lol
Would be cool if we had members that would be okay with buying in that price range. I want to hang out at their house and look at their stuff :D

Looking at what is happening at Divers Den the high end fish market is slowing down. They brought in two interuptus angels and still have them, along with blueface, and a Conspic. Angel. NY Aquatic has a juvey Gold Flake for like $249 when everyone else has them for $400. The clam is one of a kind so I hope they find a buyer that will keep it for a long time instead of someone who just sets up a tank and buys it just because he/she has the money. PEA has some really neat stuff on there website, from the low end up to the extreme.

That is a rare and unique clam but not beautiful IMO. I, for one, would not buy it.
