Ok, so my tank is just about stocked as full as I'm goint to take it. But, just like an all you can eat shrimp buffet, there's always room for one more trip.
Right now if have:
powder blue tang
spotted mandarin
yellow/black blenny
australian damsel
red hawkfish
splendid dottyback
lyretail anthias
solar fairy wrasse
I'm thinking a small angel of some kind, maybe like an interruptus angel. Oh wait, I'm about $2300 short on that one. But seriously, I'm thinking maybe a flameback angel or a cherub. I've never had problems with either. Got any ideas?

Highly recommend the genicanthus family of angels (bellus, lamarck's, watanabe). They are much more "angelic" than the ones you're considering and are good with a minimum of 100g tanks. Our female bellus has been growing some gorgeous streamers and has been a great fish!

PS: I was worried about introducing her with our powder blue tang but they completely ignored each other.

I agree with Kristy if you want to add an angel to the mix. I don't feel I have the room for one with my current stock list though.
How about another wrasse? There are some nice looking ones that will serve a purpose too. Something in the Halichoeres family?

Hmmm, I like the bellus. What about nipping? I'm still on the lookout for a clam.
I also like the melanurus wrasse. I've always liked the radiant wrasse, but my sand bed is only about 1".

No nipping at all..... BUT we don't have a clam (anymore), because we do have a clam-nipper. But it's not the bellus! :)
Everything I've read about them says they are totally reef safe and don't nip at clams. And we got this bellus from Texreefer when he tore down that monstrous tank that is now Allan's and I am pretty sure he had her in there with a clam. Come look at ours again and I bet you'll be convinced.

The Bellus is one of the best at not nipping coral. It was at the #3 spot on my fish list until I got over ruled by my co-owner of the tank.
If it helps any I have a Wardley wrasse in my tank with a 1" bed. There are a couple of spots that have a little more sand built up. He hasn't complained to me yet and finds a suitable spot.

the two potters angels ive had have been great. first one was a lil finicky on eating but i had a bully purple tang, that ended stressing and harassing him till it killed it. the second one has been great eats well and doesnt touch any of my coral.

I think you should hold off on making that commitment until you are absolutely sure you have found your 'have to have'. What if you fill that spot and half a year later you find a must have fish. My vote is for leaving that spot open for now.

I love my sunburst anthias. It was a little shy at first but now it has been out alot more lately. Its also very passive. But if you want an Angel I would agree with Kristy. Those species are supposed to be the most reef safe.
And also agree with John as I have a few sand sleeping wrasses and they all sleep in my 1" sand bed at night without problems.

Thanks Kevin and John. I may look into the another wrasse. A potter's wrasse would be awesome if I could afford one.
Chris, I've thought about the Potter's angel and may still get one. But, like Karin advised, I'm not in a rush right now. I mainly wanted to narrow down the list since I tend to get overloaded with choices when I'm at the lfs.
I've been checking out the bellus since Kristy mentioned it, and I really think that if I get an angel, that'll be the one. Thanks for the suggestions guys, you came up with some options I never thought of. This is why I love Maast!!!
