Hi,
I have had a 6 gallon nano set up for over 3 months. It is just live rock, a few corals, and a couple hermit crabs. I started getting a lot of excess algae so I ordered a quick crew about a month ago. The crew has done a tremendous job on my tank! I have very little algae left. My question is on the Nerites. I have been supplementing algae wafers once a week for the ceriths and nassarius snails since they did such a great job on the cleanup. My hermits love the wafers too! However, since the nerites sit at the top of the water and aren't aggressive eaters like the other snails, they don't seem to be getting to eat anything. There are still small amounts of algae, but should I be supplementing them with some type of food? I thought about clipping a piece of spinach at the top of the tank, but thought I would check to see if this would be something they'd be interested in. I can't find much on the internet regarding supplementing their food except with algae wafers. Any help would be appreciated!

I've had mine without any supplemetal feeding and there's no algae(that I can see) for them to eat in my tank.

I don't feed my clean up crew either. I want them as hungry as possible to eat the algae in the tank.
