So I got a couple of frags that I can't seem to ID. The first frag I got from Sherita but I can't remember what she said they were. Yellow skirts on them. For some reason they look like they have green skirts in the pic and that reddish ring is actually orange...http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n269/REGRIC252006/DSC_9162.jpgThe next ones I got from Elegant. I thought at first they were Poseidon fury but after closer inspection I don't think they are. Under actinic I wanna say they look like AOG but they are pretty small for real AOGs. When the day lights come one I am at a loss for what they could be. Any help would be nice. I'm just curious. :)http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n269/REGRIC252006/DSC_9140.jpghttp://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n269/REGRIC252006/DSC_9163.jpg

The first ones are Sunbursts (a morph from my tank). You have the only frag of that that I have allowed to leave home. You could call it an LE, LOL.

I have no idea about the second ones. They do look like AOG under actinics, but certainly not under regular lighting. I have something similar, but mine are palys, so that don't help at all. They are lovely tho.

Thanks for the info Sherita! I have to say that the sunbursts are one of the brightest in the tank. They seem to be taking off which is good! :)

I hope someone can help me with the second one.

Oh and for all I know the second ones are PALYs. I just don't know. All I know is they are cool :) I just wanted to see if someone could tell me if they have a cool name LOL

If not named maybe ill name them Dr. Jekyll's. Since they seem to change appearence under actinics. :P

I wish I could help but you might try zoaid, if that is still around. They have alot of named zoas for IDing purposes.

Thanks Kevin! I looked at all the zoas on coralpedia(zoaid) and i', still lost LOL. They look kinda like AOG's with actinics but they look like the daylight pic of the rainbow sunflowers but they look nothing like the actinic shot. I guess im just gonna have to give up and call them cool zoas. :)

Here are some better photos of what they look like. The actinic shot came out to vivis in the first post so here is what they really look like.

I don't know why it's not working! Okay so if you go to either of those 2 links and do a search for Rainbow Sunflower you will see what others are saying it is... Let me know your thoughts. :)
