Which is better? The Neptune Apex Controller Jr. or the Digital Aquatics Reefkeeper lite as an entry level controller?

Apex is $149 dollars Reefkeeper Lite $100

I am leaning toward the Apex because of the management software out of the box. There is no display to navigate. I want to add a
salinity probe but, it seems Digital aquatics is revamping thiers and Apex does not have one.

I have the cheap RKL and for $115 shipped it has controlled my lights with on and off. And turned them off when my water temp got above 79 because my AC went out or what ever reason saving my corals and fish. I have heard on other websites that Neptune has better service, but I have never needed any? When you start dealing with probes other than temp. I think you start going over the $200 mark for both.

I have had both rkl and RKE and have been very happy with both. customer service is great I had a temp probe problem and got a person the two times I called. couple of friends have the newest rkl and are happy also. very easy to program and add to.

I have the RKLs on both tanks and am hoping for a great Black Friday Deal to get the basic one for my fry set up.
I had zero problems on the big tank and the couple of problems I had with the small tank's RKL have been taken care of by customer service.

I think Sherita has a thread on here where customer service with RK was slow and unsatisfying for her but later she had a problem with Apex and customer service was non existent.

Hey if you find that Black Friday deal, please share the love. I am FINALLY ready to pull the trigger on two of those RKLs.

and does he have additional modules (SL1, SL2, net module or PC4). Will he have any RKE? Come on man spill the info.....I'd wrather spend my money locally but I can get better prices so far online and free shipping with no tax. If you can point us to an equivelant or better deal I will gladly go buy from this place.
